Bikers Have Heart

Bikers Have Heart started in 2002 as a simple poker run to help Lindsey, a young girl who needed surgery to treat a rare brain tumor. The event was such a success, we decided to make it an annual event and changed it from a poker run to our signature Yahtzee Run. Bikers Have Heart is now a non-profit charity foundation (Ein# 80-036974) and a tradition in the Rogue Valley. All proceeds raised from the event go directly to kids in Southern Oregon with life threatening illnesses. Riders come from all over the region to support this event which helps kids get the medical treatment they need to survive their illnesses. The event has raised over $250,000 in 17 years and we hope our 18th annual event will be the biggest one yet.

Our 2019 event benefited 7 year old Dennis of White City. Dennis arrived a month early with an opening in his back exposing his spine, fluid buildup on his brain, spina bifida, which left him paralyzed and a condition where his brain tissue extended into the spinal cord. He was not expected to make it, but this amazing 7 year old has beat the odds. He's endured many surgeries and has many more to come, but has the chance to take his first steps and we wanted to make that happen. With our help, Dennis's family can purchase a special device that will assist him to walk. thanks to all of your support, the family will be able to purchase  his RGO and he'll be able to take his first steps. Bikers Truly do have the biggest hearts.
